Government College, Narnaul is situated at Narnaul, district head quarter of Mahendergarh, district. It was inaugurated by General Shivdev Singh, Education Mininster of PEPSU in 1954. Narnaul city is a popular tourist center in the state of Haryana. 
Govt. College, Narnaul, established in 1954 and recognized under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, now stands as a premier multi-faculty, multidisciplinary, co-educational institution affiliated with Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur accredited B+ in its 2nd Cycle of Accreditation by NAAC. It is one of the leading colleges in the state dedicated to holistic development, situated in Narnaul, in the district of Mahendergarh, south Haryana. Narnaul is a city, a Municipal Council, and location of headquarters of the Mahendragarh district in the Indian state of Haryana. Since its inception, the college has been committed to nurturing young minds and removing socio-economic barriers and discrimination.

College has lush green campus sprawling over 25 acres. The built-in area encompasses six separate buildings that comprises of well-furnished airy teaching blocks, library, the administrative offices and a state-of-the-art multipurpose auditorium with a seating capacity of about 700. 

The library lends itself to a quiet and reflective ambience for the students. It is well-stocked with plothera of books and various e-journals. 

The college currently offers 12 full-time PG courses, 7 UG courses, and 1 PG diploma course, along with certificate courses. We have a highly qualified and dedicated faculty guided by the code of ethics who are committed to imparting value-based education to its students. All stakeholders work within the institutional policies and practices so as to satisfy the Vision and Mission of the college.
